Questions & Answers​
Some of the latest questions raised in our community gardens and growing hubs
Match the size of you plant pot to the plant you are growing. Over sized root bound plants in a small pot require daily watering, The opposite a small plant in a large pot are at risk of over-watering and root rot. Grow Incredible will launch a range of devices & guidance for optimum watering in early 2025.
Get you last mowing of the season done in September, and use a spring rake to remove thatch, ready for the winter. In the spring start with a moss killer like iron sulphate if your lawn is prone to moss.
A rotary composter will create good compost in around 6-8 weeks. If you have a simple soil pH meter a good guide to well rotted compost is a reading of pH 7.0 and above. Matured compost should be dark coloured, crumbly and have a good earthy smell.
